Came across this guy (gal?) in the back yard near the trash cans. Yikes!I was so impressed that I took a few pictures. I wish I would have taken one with me holding up a quarter next to it so that you could tell how big it was. Of course, that would have involved getting closer to it.

Dave, next time instead of taking pictures of the horrifying spider, just murder it please, OK? You can take pictures too, but the murdering is more important. Before and after pics would be cool.
Kate, I feel your pain, and trump it with the fact that this spider could very well be crawling on me, or my baby right this minute.
Spiders are our friends! Sometimes I murder bugs, but not spiders. I tend to kill the super creepy ones with ten thousand legs.
By the way, I think I saw that huge spider headed over to your house. Oh my God, he's in your hair! He's crawling into your ear! EATING YOUR BRAIN! AAAAAAAAaaaahhhhh!!!!
Thanks a lot. I'm not even at my house and that freaked me out because I picked up my hand and there was a screw lying on the couch and I caught it with one of my fingers and it rolled up my arm. AAAHHHH! I'll remember this.
