The London Eye is the world's largest Ferris wheel. It is 443 feet tall and is located across the River Thames from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I get the impression that some folks think building a giant Ferris wheel in the middle of historic London was not such a good idea. They are wrong, it is cool.Case in point, check the pods as seen from aboard the Eye:

Actually it goes really slow. A ride on the Eye is one revolution, and it takes about half an hour. The pods are key in rainy/cold weather.
the eye is badass. what's even more badass is that we were in london at the same time. east side power!
i miss you guys. hope you're doing well. we finally have awesome neighbors above your old apt. a couple with a newborn. yay!
